In this position you will be a key member of the Industrial Business Unit, business development team to support the Tire & Automotive/EV Team. Main responsibilities are China, India and South-East Asia. You will report to the Asia Pacific Industrial Team Leader based in Shanghai, China. In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly impact business development and sales results and work with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy. This role is based in the Shanghai commercial office. The idea candidate is enthusiastic, self-managed, commercially minded, flexible, team-player and possesses strong integrity and professionalism. Regular travels are required. 
Main Job Responsibilities
  • Work with the global team to identify and prioritize top business growth opportunities for Intralox in the Tire & Automotive/EV industries with emphasis on the China, India and SEA markets. Use creative and practical thinking to develop plans for effective pursuit of these opportunities. 
  • Understand customer process economics, applications, KPIs, and the related Intralox value to those customers. 
  • Drive new products and services development initiatives for the team. 
  • Provide research and analysis to develop new applications/products for Intralox across the industry. 
  • Develop account plans, strategy, and commercial differentiation messages & services to the targeted account groups. 
  • Conduct analysis to show payback on investment and develop business cases and competition analysis for customers. 
  • Provide business reporting and analysis with emphasis on the APAC markets. 
  • Work with Marketing Communications Coordinator to develop marketing mediums/tools effectively to communicate clear messages to the market/customer base. 
  • Native Mandarin Chinese and fluency in English. Other languages are advantageous. 
  • University education (Masers or MBA preferred). Training in economics/financial analysis and mechanical engineering is a plus. 
  • 3+ years work experience in sales, marketing, business development, B2B or product management. 
  • Energetic, well-organized, exceptional communication skills, curious in nature, international mindset.
  • Excellent use of excel and other analytical tools. 
  • Ability to evaluate and effectively pursue strategic sales opportunities.
  • Strong team player, self-managed and proactive with a demonstrated sense of ownership.
  • Objective, critical, and independent thinking capabilities. 
  • Credible; able to develop strong relationships within the team and with customers.
  • Affinity for technical products and services. 
  • Ability to occasionally travel within China and internationally.
