In this position you will be a member of the Global Industrial Business Unit, business development team in China. You will report to the Asia Pacific Industrial Team Leader based in Shanghai, China. In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly impact business development and sales results and work with high degree of responsibility and autonomy. This role is based in the Shanghai commercial office. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, self-managed, commercially minded, flexible, team-player and possesses strong integrity and professionalism. Business travels are required. 
Main Job Responsibilities
  • Support the regional team to identify and prioritize top business growth opportunities for Intralox in Packaging and related segments with emphasis in the China market. Use creative and practical thinking to support develop plans for effective pursuit of these opportunities. 
  • Support the market research process for new products and services development initiatives driven by the industry segment teams. 
  • Support the account plans, strategy and commercial differentiation messages & services development initiatives driven by the industry segment teams. 
  • Support the industry segment BDA and Marketing Communications Coordinator for the business case, marketing mediums/tools development in effectively to communicate clear messages to the market/customer base. 
  • Understand customer process economics, applications, KPIs, and the related Intralox value to those customers. 
Qualifications
  • Native Mandarin Chinese and fluency in English. Other languages are advantageous. 
  • University education. Training in economics/financial analysis is a plus. 
  • 3+ years work experience in sales, marketing, business development, B2B or product management. 
  • Energetic, well-organized, expectational communication skills, curious in nature, international mindset. 
  • Excellent use of Microsoft office tools. 
  • Strong team player, self-managed and proactive with a demonstrated sense of ownership.
  • Objective, critical, and independent thinking capabilities. 
  • Credible; able to develop strong relationships within the team. 
  • Affinity for technical products and services. 
  • Ability to occasionally travel within China and internationally.
