In this position, you will be a member of the Sales APAC Team and Marketing Business Unit in India, Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, and other Asia Pacific countries. You will report to the Marketing Manager based in Austin, Texas, and work closely with our Global Sales Manager and APAC Sales Manager based in India. In this role, you will have the opportunity to directly impact business development, marketing, and sales results and work with a high degree of responsibility and autonomy. This role will be home-based. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, self-managed, commercially minded, flexible, creative, a team player, and has strong integrity and professionalism. This analyst also has the customer and marketing orientation to distill those models into simple, compelling, and effective marketing communication. The role represents a unique opportunity to directly impact company-level outcomes by supporting the ongoing sale of products and new product launches. You will work at the crossroads of Marketing, Sales, and Product Development. Business travels are required. 
Main Job Responsibilities:
  • Support the regional team to identify and prioritize top business growth opportunities for Laitram Machinery in Nut Pasteurization, Nut Roasting, Shrimp Processing, and Vegetable blanching, emphasizing India, Thailand, Vietnam, and the other Asia Pacific markets. 
  • Support the market research process for new products and services development initiatives driven by the industry segment teams. 
  • Use creative and practical thinking to develop plans for the effective pursuit of these opportunities. 
  • Assist in developing the product roadmap; understand our customer’s needs and our capabilities.
  • Support Marketing to develop effective commercial differentiation messages & services development initiatives driven by the industry segment teams in the region. 
  • Develop compelling business cases, case studies, value propositions, and ROI analyses; understand, quantify, and compare the value of Laitram products and alternatives.
  • Support Marketing to find global trade shows and publications in the region to increase our market knowledge, and brand awareness. 
  • Support regional team with reporting from CRM (Microsoft Dynamics).
Qualifications:
  • Fluency in English. Other languages are advantageous. 
  • MBA preferred.
  • 5+ years’ work experience in sales, marketing, business development, B2B, or product management. 
  • High energy, entrepreneurial mindset, self-starter with tenacity, creativity, and curiosity
  • Practical knowledge of sales, marketing, and economics
  • Strong team player, self-managed and proactive with a demonstrated sense of ownership.
  • Ability to organize and convert key information into clear, concise, and informative written documents. 
  • Energetic, well-organized, expectational communication skills, curious in nature, international mindset. 
  • Skillful in working on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent use of Microsoft office tools. 
  • Previously used a CRM such as Salesforce or CRM Dynamics.
