Due to continuing strong growth, new products and even higher service levels to customers, Intralox LLC Europe is looking for a dedicated Assembly Technician to strengthen its equipment group. The Assembly Technician is involved in the subassembly, final assembly and pre-shipment testing of Intralox Equipment. You will work out of the Wehl facility (GLD).
What will you do?
- Assemble conveyor equipment by following blueprint and assembly procedures (sub-assembly as well as final assembly)
- Read pneumatic schematics and run airlines
- Use hand tools, saws, milling machines and other assembly/fabrication equipment.
- Apply established standards, processes and procedures to ensure workplace safety
- Apply established standards, processes and procedures to ensure quality
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Who are you?
- MBO level 3 Mechatronics Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum two years experience in a lean assembly environment
- Basic understanding of electrical wiring/ tubing
- Skills and ability to effectively use tools
- Must be a Team player
- Possess good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work with computer
- Flexibility for overtime work and a ‘get-the-job-done’ mentality
- Must be able to work in a dynamic environment and under the pressure of deadlines
