As part of the Hanover Assembly Team the Assembly Lead will be involved in setting up and managing a continuous flow line and assembly work cells. The assembly lead will help develop assembly instructions, ensure assembly quality, monitor assembly line schedules, assembly capacity and teach the Intralox LCI philosophy.

We have 2 shifts currently open. 1st shift work hours will be: 6:00 am - 2:30 pm and 2nd shift work hours will be: 2:30 pm - 11:00 pm.

  • Coordinate activities of Assembly personnel in support of completing day to day operational objectives.
  • Utilize problem solving skills and knowledge of Assembly operations to troubleshoot when necessary and identify process improvements to ensure stable operation of the work cell.
  • Help develop assembly instructions, ensure assembly quality, monitor assembly line schedules, assembly capacity and teach the Intralox LCI philosophy.
  • Observe, maintain, coordinate, and complete standard work.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions. Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
  • Ensure open communication and collaboration with team, leads, and management.
  • Lead initial and on-going operational, safety, and equipment training for team members.
  • Respond to routine requests and ability to handle escalated issues in a timely manner.
  • Drive daily and weekly missions.  Effectively coordinate resources to accomplish those missions.
  • Point of contact for initial team concerns. Promote an environment of teamwork, cohesion and consistency.
  • Identify skills and knowledge gaps in your team & work with your supervisor to close those gaps. 
  • Gauge capacity of your team and then participate in the interviewing/hiring/onboarding processes as appropriate.
  • Communicate production updates to stakeholders and other departments as needed.
  • Exhibit teamwork and self-management daily.
  • Follow and enforce the attendance and call-in policy of the Assembly department.
  • Follow all safety procedures and policies.
  • Follow policies and procedures as designated by the Company‚Äôs Quality System.


  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a lead, foreman, or supervisor in a manufacturing assembly environment.
  • Previous experience in handling, prioritizing, and delegating multiple tasks in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
  • Ability to exhibit teamwork and self-management practices.
  • Desire to lead, mentor and develop others.
  • Previous experience with scheduling work and managing employee tasks.
  • Must possess a strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Experience and proven success in identifying and implementing meaningful process improvements
  • Utilize problem-solving skills, teamwork, and leadership practices to overcome obstacles.
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility, introspection, and resilience in the face of constant change and challenge.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to interact with internal personnel at all levels as well as external vendors and sales teams.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office program.
  • Ability to safely operate various lift equipment.
  • Good hand/eye coordination
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift and carry up to 40 pounds.
  • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and holidays as required

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience with Lean/5S concepts
  • Ability to work in Microsoft Office / Oracle / Kronos
  • Intralox Equipment product knowledge
  • Familiarity with Production Assembly Line processes
  • Previous experience with Oracle operating system.
