Intralox is looking for a talented, driven leader for their Assembly plant at its Hoofddorp location on the Schiphol Trade Park. The purpose of this position is to ensure the efficient management of assembly operations in order to produce high-quality, low-cost products in a safe work environment.

- Ensure safe work environment – working with the Health and Safety Officer – and conform to safety and health directives.
- Assess performance and provide feedback to each individual to help achieve the targeted plans, budgets and goals.
- Implement Quality management and closed loop corrective action processes within Operations.
- Monitor performance on the shop floor and facilitate training, and other development requirements.
- Proactive planning and management of resources, schedules and capacity.
- Develop business plans, budgets, and tie them to goals.
- Follow the Laitram Business Philosophy and support continuous improvement within Operations.
- Report, analyze, identify areas that require attention within Operations and prioritize actions based on these measures of Key Performance Indicators.
- Work overtime when necessary
- +5 years knowledge and experience managing production/assembly operations.
- Proven people management skills:
Ability to motivate and manage the team.Decision making ability – process driven sound decision making approach.Communication skillsEmotional intelligenceProblem solving
- Knowledge/practice of Quality management initiatives.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing highly desirable.
- Ability to understand financials and manage operations, drive decision-making – based on that understanding.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office. Oracle is a plus
- Technical qualification – vocational/ engineering desirable.
