An Assembly Lead’s primary role is to ensure orders meet the necessary quality and service level expectations of Intralox customers by providing support to the Assembly team. This is a full-time position in an air conditioned, state of the art manufacturing facility. This shift is 12 hours (7:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.) with rotating weekends.

  • Provide leadership and support in a way that promotes the Laitram Business Philosophy
  • Promote the safety of team members through the adherence of safety and ergonomic practices
  • Provide an environment where productivity standards can be achieved
  • Facilitate activities to have orders available for shipment on-time
  • Perform quality audits to ensure products meet quality standards for shipment
  • Assist with the skill development of team members
  • Promote operational excellence within the team and company by driving continuous improvement efforts
  • Apply good judgment when making decisions outside of standard protocol
  • Exhibit teamwork and self-management
  • Serve as a Lead member of the on-call team to service customer emergency orders after-hours 


  • High school diploma, GED, or relevant work experience
  • Must be able to work rotating 12hr shift (7:00 am – 7:00 pm)
  • Must be able to overtime and possible on-call hours as required
  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of this position as detailed in the functional job description, including the requirement to lift and carry 40 pounds
  • Good hand / eye coordination and detail oriented
  • Strong communication skills
  • Sets a positive example

Desired Qualifications:

  • Previous Supervisory experience
  • Experienced in Microsoft Office products
  • Understanding of Lean/5S/TOC concepts
