The Intralox, L.L.C. Hanover, MD Research & Development team is looking for an Assembly Technician. The candidate will be mainly responsible for assembly and testing of custom and developmental conveyance equipment at our Hanover, MD office. The technician will utilize our production schedule to build equipment and assist engineers in testing and validation. In addition, this role will track incoming parts, develop processes for parts inspection, and ensure high quality product. This is a production environment where each project has a deadline.

Responsibilities:

· Ensure a high quality product is delivered to our customers.

· Ensure that any quality issues are well documented and reported to the proper team lead for resolution.

· Follow Intralox protocol and procedures for assembling our equipment at a world class level

· Setup and execution of testing, directed by the test engineer

· Manage the replacement of incorrect parts, at times fabricating parts in house to meet ship dates

· Prepared to offer solutions to the issues that WILL occur.

Requirements:

·        Experience working with custom projects

·        Proficient with hand tools, powered and non

·        Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·        Positive, Proactive attitude, with attention to detail

·        Understanding of core quality principles

·        Goal oriented team player

·        Excellent computer skills with some exposure to 3D CAD (Inventor preferred)

·        Travel may be required up to 10-20% of the time and weekend work when needed

Desired Skills

·        Knowledge of lean manufacturing concepts

·        Experience with industrial conveyors
