The Applications Engineer provides technical support and services relevant to Intralox Modular Plastic Belt technologies. As an Applications Engineer at Intralox Japan, you take Intralox’s service to the next level by ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the life cycle of our broad product line.

Job responsibilities include:
  • Perform varied technical and sales roles to support, develop, and promote modular plastic belt conveying applications
  • Review applications and drawings to check product suitability
  • Support, coordinate, and supervise site installations and commissioning
  • Provide technical trainings
  • Provide both remote and site troubleshooting 
  • Conduct technical audits and health checks
  • Manage performance issues
  • Testing of proposed solutions, in-house, with suppliers or as field testing
 Desirable qualifications:
  • Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering, or relevant experience in an engineering role involving mechanical equipment
  • Native Japanese and fluent English (TOEIC score 600 or more)
  • Ability to travel frequently, work weekends and holidays, and work occasional overtime when required
  • Strong project management and collaboration skills including planning, scheduling, leadership, and team building
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Self-motivated, team player, passion for learning
  • Experience in the use of hand & measuring tools
  • Proficient in AutoCAD or other CAD software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
