Partnering with known manufacturers and producers across the automotive, industrial, and food industries, our success is the result of a diligent focus on continuous improvement, with mutual trust and self-managed people at its core.  Working together with the Industry Account Manager, you will be the first point of contact for your customers and responsible for growing customer relationships by understanding their true needs and exceeding their expectations.  Your day-to-day activities will include accurately managing customer inquiries and coordinating technical expertise when needed – ensuring unmatched customer experience in all interactions. 

Job Responsibilities:
  • Co-managing accounts and developing business relationships by offering value-added products
  • Accurate entry of quotes and orders for customers in Australia & New Zealand
  • Advise & recommend products and services 
  • Solve customer problems in a group by coordinating and communicating with relevant departments, such as the wider commercial team, production, credit, and engineering 
  • Documenting and leveraging important information across teams 
  • Assist in customer account maintenance
  • Proactively furthering the sales process using outbound calls
Your Profile:
  • Native English speaker
  • 2+ years of business-to-business (B2B) work experience (commercial and customer support roles preferred)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Long-term commitment to live and work in Melbourne
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Analytical, detail-oriented
  • Service-minded, ability to independently support customers
  • Provide a high focus on the customer experience 
  • Curious, good technical affinity, and a fast learner
