Intralox, L.L.C. has an opening for an Account Manager on its Global Tire & Automotive Team. As a member of this team, the qualified individual will be responsible for business development and selling activities to customers in the Tire, Automotive, and Battery industry in South Korea. This individual will work in a global team environment with local technical and marketing support.

  • Manage commercial relationships with existing customers and build relationships with new customers 
  • Identify and initiate contact with the appropriate buying influences. Build relationships with executives and key decision-makers at these target accounts.
  • Identify market opportunities at end-user customers, understand unmet needs and develop/define product requirements/value propositions with your commercial team.
  • Present Intralox management and peers with facts about customers and an accurate picture of the market 
  • Global account team responsibility for his assigned accounts – coordinates and supports peer activities for his accounts globally
  • Embrace the concept of “self-management” in performing the above responsibilities.

Desired qualifications:
  • B.S. or B.A. from an accredited university. Bachelor's degree in engineering combined with business education is desired.
  • 5-10 years (project) sales experience in South Korea in a technical B2B environment with preferably experience in the Automotive, Tire, Battery, or Packaging industry.
  • Affinity for technical industrial processes, factory automation, and related products and services
  • Excellent communicator and team player – effectively communicating with multiple levels of people in customer organizations
  • Self-managed, proactive with a “can-do” attitude, and a positive team player.
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel extensively (50%+), and work in a fast-paced environment.
