In this position you are responsible for Intralox' sales strategy, execution and business development with key industrial accounts in Australia for Meat, Poultry & Seafood accounts.  This position is a national role. Ideally, this individual should be located in or around Brisbane~Queensland. The job will require significant travel in Australia and is home-based.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record with: technical equipment sales, component sales, large account development and project management, and team selling. This is a direct contributor role and will be calling on plants and working the account at that level. He/she is able to work effectively in a multicultural and global environment.  
Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and drive execution of account plans, actively participate in setting and implementing strategy.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key decision makers in technical, operational and economic functions at the key accounts/plants.
  • Identify new business opportunities with  key decision makers in technical, operational and economic functions at the key accounts/plants.
  • Maintain responsibility for revenue objectives at the accounts, as well as for reaching the qualitative milestones/objectives as defined and agreed in the account plans.
  • Organize regular reviews of account progress; redirect strategies and tactics when necessary.
  • Continuously drive account analysis to strengthen our value proposition/offer to the accounts.
  • Reflect on personal and business development as part of on-going commitment to improvement.

Your Profile:

  • Native/fluent English.
  • Preferably 2+ years of B2B sales with experience selling complex technologies.
  • University degree (Bachelor or higher) preferred. Mechanical engineering degree is a plus.
  • Extremely high energy level and work ethic, well-organized.
  • Proactive, assertive, risk taker, results and goal-oriented.
  • Strong ability to work cross-border and cultures.
  • High technical aptitude, technical (mechanical) background preferred.
  • Ability to develop and grow relationships at executive levels, and to work at multiple levels.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Customer centric mindset, passionate about sales.
  • Credible; able to develop strong relationships with targeted Accounts.
  • Proven ability to develop large Accounts.
  • Ability to evaluate and effectively pursue strategic sales opportunities.
  • Strong self-managed team player.
  • Objective critical thinking capabilities.
