Job Description (General Summary)

The DS team is leading Intralox’s implementation and evolution of our enterprise business applications and new digital solutions. As our quality assurance practices evolve, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our team. This role will support our QA and Solutions team by leveraging their EBS Functional knowledge to create Test Plans and Test Scripts. The engineer will collaborate with Tosca Engineers to automate manual test scripts and perform Regression Testing, Functional/Feature Testing for regular release cycle changes, and Application Patching and Upgrades within a complex Oracle EBS & Cloud environment and its associated custom web applications.  This position will report to QA Architect Manager.  Work with a diverse team of technical and solutions experts.  Support range of technically complex projects across various departments and cross-functional teams.  Utilize domain knowledge to enhance automated testing and ensure high-quality standards.


Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities:
  • Manually test functional changes to Oracle EBS related to Order Management and Finance modules within a multi-environment, deployment pipeline.
  • Participate in the review and refinement of requirements and specifications documentation with the scrum team.
  • Collaborate with BA, functional analyst, developers and stake holders to understand requirement and ensure alignment with business needs.
  • Create and maintain detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases covering both functional and non-functional requirements.
  • Consult with functional analysts and BAs to ensure test plans sufficiently cover use cases, considering both happy and error paths.
  • Apply Domain/ EBS knowledge to ensure that the software solutions effectively support Business process and operations.
  • Develop deep domain knowledge to catch edge cases and regression test change sets beyond published test plans.
  • Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities within development and QA teams.
  • Perform functional / feature testing and report any functional gaps, issues or defects.
  • Collaborate with test automation team to convert manual test cases to Tosca automation scripts.
  • Develop, support and maintain test automation scripts related to Tosca & Postman.
  • Perform regression testing for regular release cycles, critical patch updates, and application upgrades.
  • Communicate any issues uncovered with in-progress work to the developer for implementation.
  • Create and maintain quality metrics to track improvements to our core products.
  • Perform Requirements traceability & Defect management in JIRA or other test management tools like qTest.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with Oracle EBS R12 / Fusion testing, application support and functional testing.
  • Proven experience in conducting SIT, compatibility testing, mobile testing and UAT.
  • Proficiency in creating test plans, test scripts, and templates.
  • Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman, Tosca & Playwright
  • Experience with test management & defect management tools like Zephr, Jira, qTest or similar.
  • Experience with performance testing tools such as Neoload, Load Runner, JMeter or similar.
  • Strong analytical, communication, Organizational and problem-solving skills.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Oracle SQL , java script, PL/SQL or other relevant Oracle technologies.
  • Certifications in ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA or equivalent software testing certifications.
