Project Overview

The objective of this project is to design an ergonomic lift system that facilitates the efficient assembly and operation of various sorting machines. This design aims to enhance user comfort, reduce physical strain, and improve overall productivity in sorting operations.

Background
In modern manufacturing the need for ergonomic solutions is paramount. Workers often face physical challenges when assembling our systems, leading to fatigue and potential injuries. An ergonomic lift can significantly alleviate these issues by providing adjustable height options and easy maneuverability.

Design Goals

1. Ergonomics: The lift should be designed to minimize strain on workers. Features such as adjustable height, easy access controls, and a stable base will be prioritized.

2. Versatility: The lift must accommodate various sorting machines, allowing for quick adjustments and compatibility with different models.

3. Safety: Incorporating safety features such as emergency stop buttons, anti-slip surfaces, and secure locking mechanisms to prevent accidents.

4. Efficiency: The design should help the assembler work more efficiently

Proposed Features

• Adjustable Height Mechanism: A hydraulic or electric lift system that allows users to set the desired height easily.

• User-Friendly Controls: Intuitive control panels that can be operated with minimal effort, ensuring accessibility for all users.
