We are looking for someone to bring fresh thinking and shipping knowledge and experience to our Shipping Team in Hoofddorp. The successful candidate will be a positive, energetic individual with sound knowledge of packaging and shipping and forklift driving. You have good knowledge of shipping in a fast pace environment with challenging targets.

We are also open to providing opportunities for students who can work in the Shipping department around their MBO Logistics studies.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements

Responsibilities


  • Keep the assembly area clear of finished belts at all times 
  • Ensure all orders are packed into correct sized boxes and banded securely to pallets ensuring no damage occurs in transit 
  • Prepack accessories in date order, checking quantities, description of work order and work order instructions
  • Ensure all orders are staged for consolidation check
  • When completing an order, check systems for any changes to the order and ensure labels go on correct boxes
  • Process orders, while ensuring compliance with instructions and guidelines, to final ship off
  • Prepare shipping documentation and book EU shipments with carriers
  • Arrange labeled boxes for loading for transport
  • Compliance with Known Consignor process for Air shipments


Profile

  • Valid Dutch forklift license is preferable
  • English speaking
  • A prior working knowledge of Oracle shipping system and/or Kewill /Blujay would be beneficial
  • Relevant work experience in a logistics department
  • Self-managed, independent and proactive
  • Strong communication skills
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively with others
  • Willing to work outside regular hours, when required
