- Execute pre-sale concept and feasibility testing in support of Sales Team. Clear feedback will be delivered in a test report.
- Consult during the kick-off phase of projects to reduce risk, and request necessary product for pre-shipment testing of production equipment
- Identify and document patterns of successful applications. Implement upstream processes with this data to reduce the need for formal
- equipment runoff testing.
- Support equipment troubleshooting for field issues, sometimes at a customer site.
- Lead customer Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) at Intralox facility
- Identify and execute continuous improvement opportunities, often working with adjacent teams to implement.
- Develop knowledge, becoming a subject matter expert (SME) on Active Roller Belt (ARB) equipment with respect to functionality and
- troubleshooting
- Direct involvement with the function and performance of each piece of equipment delivered.
- Use engineering principles and mechanical skills to build innovative solutions to real-world material handling and conveyance challenges.
- Collaborate and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to fulfill project requirements.
- Database maintenance of historical documentation for testing results.
- Occasionally represent test team during interdepartmental meetings.
- Follow all safety procedures and policies while on the production floor.
- Exhibit teamwork, self-management, objective decision making, and LCI principles.
Position Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with using measuring devices, hand tools, and reading mechanical drawings
- Must possess a strong technical and mechanical aptitude.
- Positive, proactive attitude, with strong attention to detail.
- Experience with hand, air, and power tools such as a tape measure, level, mechanics tools, drills, impact guns
- Goal oriented team player.
- Adaptable, navigates and executes problem solving in unique situations
- Willing and able to be hands-on and work with all levels and types of people, I.E. Account Managers, Engineers, Technicians, production staff
- etc.
- Excellent computer skills with working knowledge of 3D CAD.
- Proficient with Microsoft programs specifically with Excel, Word, OneNote, and PowerPoint.
- Travel may be required up to 10-20% of the time and weekend work when needed.
- Ability to lift 40lbs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Intralox product line.
- 1+ years or Engineering experience in product testing or automation/industrial equipment production.
- Familiarity with all forms of conveyor line applications.
- Previous experience working with lean manufacturing concepts or principles.
- Previous experience working in a manufacturing industry.
- Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
- Previous experience with Inventor.
- Previous experience interfacing and training customers in professional atmosphere.

The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. Intralox considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training and key skills. The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans.
Salary Range: $74,300 to $174,300
