What You’ll Do
As a Development Engineer, you’ll combine creativity, engineering expertise, and collaboration to bring solutions to life:
- Turn ideas into reality: Translate customer requirements into technical solutions and validate concepts through analysis and testing
- Design & develop: Create new products, components, and systems while improving existing solutions
- Collaborate globally: Work with project managers, controls engineers, technicians, and test engineers across international teams
- Drive efficiency: Contribute to automation initiatives (e.g., CAD configurators and design tools)
- Support the business: Provide timely, high-quality engineering input to help teams deliver successfully
- Improve continuously: Refine engineering processes, documentation, and best practices
- Become an expert: Build deep knowledge of Intralox’s ARB technology and its applications
What You Bring
- 3+ years’ experience in industrial machine design
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar
- Strong skills in 3D CAD and PDM systems
- Ability to produce detailed engineering drawings (parts, assemblies, installations)
- Excellent communication skills (written & verbal)
- A hands-on, proactive mindset with strong ownership
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to 10%)
Nice to Have
- Experience with Autodesk Inventor, especially sheet metal design
- Familiarity with PTC Windchill (PLM)
- Background in conveyor or material handling systems
- Understanding of APQP or stage-gate development processes
- Experience working with SCRUM or agile methods
