Job Description (General Summary)
Intralox Australia is looking for a Human Resources Generalist based out of our Melbourne Office. In this role you will serve as a trusted advisor and partner to employees and managers at our Melbourne location, supporting a wide range of human resources functions. This role combines HR advisory expertise with strong interpersonal and analytical skills to foster a positive and productive work environment. The HR Generalist will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners to ensure HR practices align with business goals, legal requirements, and company values.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Key Responsibilities:

Employee Relations & HR Advisory
  • Provide proactive support and accurate advice to employees and managers on HR procedures, recruitment, employment law, and employee relations.
  • Serve as a trusted partner on issues such as absence management, conflict resolution, and termination processes.
  • Build strong relationships across the organization to support initiatives that enhance employee wellbeing and engagement.
Policy & Compliance
  • Maintain HR policies, procedures, and supplier contracts in line with current legislation and company philosophy. Ensure compliance with local labor law and internal standards.
  • Manage contract documentation, standard templates and information accuracy 
Benefits Management
  • Analyze and assess the effectiveness and competitiveness of benefits programs in collaboration with benefits brokers.
  • Provide guidance and implement benefits programs such as pensions, private health care, income protection, group life insurance, and other health and well-being schemes.
  • Align benefits strategy with stakeholders and manage execution to mitigate risk.
Projects & Initiatives
  • Collaborate on cross-functional initiatives that improve the workplace culture
  • Support international HR efforts 

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business.
  • 7+ years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong knowledge of ANZ and India labor law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, manage multiple priorities, and collaborate effectively.
  • Strong planning and organizational habits.
  • Ability to travel occasionally within APAC and globally
