We are currently searching for an experienced Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to join our Equipment Manufacturing Quality Team. As the SQE, you will partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, and Production teams to drive excellent performance and improved productivity from our suppliers. You will be working together with our local team in China, and global quality team in the US and EMEA to develop and drive quality in the organization. Willingness to travel to Chinese suppliers, and other Intralox plants in US & EMEA is therefore desired.  The ideal candidate should demonstrate leadership skills, great attention to detail with excellent technical, problem solving and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Liaison with global quality team for all quality topics in APAC.
• Performing supplier assessments & audits on new & existing suppliers.
• Driving supplier non-conformances/SCARs and working on supplier process improvements.
• Driving quality trend analysis and improvements.
• Implement & lead CAPA/CAR/SCARs in APAC.
• Implement part releases (PPAP) and ensure they are executed properly.
• Partner with the plant quality teams to improve quality processes & tools.
• Perform regular quality assessments & inspections of a given supplier’s outgoing parts.
• Identify risks and drive mitigation plans for seamless operations.
• Perform a variety of tasks in support of short- and long-term goals of the operations.

Desired qualifications:

• Experience in a low volume equipment manufacturing environment. 
• Experience with different manufacturing techniques like sheet metal, machining, and extrusion.
• Excellent stakeholder management & proven ability to lead through influence.
• Experience in a low volume production environment is a plus.
• CAQ/CQMA/CQC or equivalent certification.
• Experience implementing SPC and/or six-sigma concepts. 
• Knowledge of best practices for the QA function in a Manufacturing environment. 
• Experience with managing external/outsourced supplier quality (audits, CAR, etc).
• Experience with problem solving and root cause analysis (CAPA, 8D, etc.)
• Ability to travel within China (and to US/EU occasionally).
