This Engineering Technician will be responsible for executing test plans that are efficient and thorough and to provide documented data to the engineering team so that the equipment can be properly utilized in our customer’s plants for years to come.

We are seeking a hands-on, detail-oriented Engineering Technician to support new product testing, evaluation, and workshop operations. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy mechanical work, problem-solving, and contributing directly to product development and performance validation.
Responsibilities
- Execute testing for new and existing products and accurately document results.
- Build and test modular belts and related components.
- Conduct product performance and application-based tests.
- Prepare samples and perform material property testing.
- Maintain workshop and test areas, ensuring adherence to safety and housekeeping standards.
- Provide training on proper operation of test equipment as required.
Requirements
- Education & Experience:
- Degree in Engineering Technology or a minimum of 4 years of related work experience in manufacturing or mechanical/electromechanical trade (e.g., automotive, aircraft, industrial machinery mechanic, installation or field service technician, controls technician).
- If no degree, a minimum of 4 years relevant experience is required; preference will be given to candidates from the trades listed above.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong, methodical troubleshooting approach and solid analytical skills.
- Mechanical aptitude required; advanced mechanical skills strongly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail; ability to follow precise procedures, maintain accurate records, and ensure repeatability in testing
- Proficiency using hand tools and power tools.
- Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications.
- Physical & Work Requirements:
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors when needed.
- Willingness to travel occasionally (up to ~5%) for customer visits, training, or installations.
