We’re looking for a Development Engineer – Mechatronics to join our multidisciplinary early‑stage development team based in Eindhoven. In this role, you will explore new ideas, validate assumptions, and build electromechanical prototypes that shape the future of our product portfolio.

This position blends simulation & analysis (~60%) with hands‑on prototyping & experimental testing (~40%).

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

What You’ll Do

Concept Development & Prototyping

• Drive creative technical ideation
• Evaluate feasibility of new ideas and technologies
• Design, build, and test electromechanical prototypes
• Iterate based on data and feedback
• Identify limitations and validate technical assumptions

Simulation, Analysis & Testing

• Perform simulations and analytical studies (e.g., MATLAB)
• Design and run lab experiments
• Validate concepts through data‑driven evaluation

Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with development, test engineering, and product management
• Coordinate with external vendors
• Communicate progress and insights clearly
• Support handovers into product development
• Collaborate with idea generators on concepts and value propositions
