Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Responsibilities:
· Develop, maintain, and update technical documentation for Integrated systems and equipment software systems, including Software Requirements Specification, Requirements Traceability Matrix, Software Master Test Plan, Software configuration Management plans and others.
· Create and execute system and software test plans, test cases, and test procedures to verify software functionality and ensure compliance with customer requirements.
· Collaborate with development engineers and program managers to gather and clarify technical information.
· Review and analyze source code, software designs, and system designs to ensure documentation accurately reflects system behavior and architecture.
· Support software changes and compliance reviews through well-prepared documentation packages.
· Maintain configuration control of all technical documents and test artifacts.
· Provide cross-team support by identifying gaps in documentation and suggesting improvements.
Required:
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
· 3+ years' experience in engineering or industrial automation
· Ability to read and interpret PLC code and engineering drawings
· Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain technical concepts.
Preferred:
· Experience supporting government or defense contracts with knowledge of compliance and security standards.
· Familiarity with DoD or government documentation standards (e.g., MIL-STD, IEEE).
· Ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams (electrical, software, systems engineering).
· Experience working with software development lifecycle, version control systems (e.g., Git), and defect tracking tools.

The position is eligible for one of the following: commissions, discretionary incentives, or production incentives according to the terms of those plans
Salary Range $75,300 to $192,300
