Job Description (General Summary)
In this dynamic role, you will be providing Japanese-language phone support to Intralox customers in Japan. This position is based in the Melbourne office and reports into the ANZ & Japan Customer Service Manager. We are looking for an intelligent team player who has a positive mindset and always goes the extra mile to provide high-quality customer service. Your responsibilities vary from providing optimal order management, to technical support in response to customer requests. You will be co-managing accounts and developing business relationships by offering value-added products. The focus is, and always will be, on identifying the customers’ needs and ensure our world-class services.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements
Job Responsibilities:
  • Process customer inquiries, quotes,  and orders correctly in an order entry system
  • Advice & recommend products as needed
  • Solve customer problems in a group, coordinating with sales, production, and engineering, and carry out follow-ups to ensure that concerns are resolved to the customer's satisfaction
  • Documenting and leveraging important customer information across departments and accounts
  • Assist in customer account maintenance
  • Proactively furthering the sales process using outbound calls
  • Coordinate and communicate with relevant departments (credit, assembly, technical support)
  • Various other responsibilities as needed
Your Profile:
  • Native Japanese and fluent English, both spoken and written
  • Commercial acumen.
  • 2+ year work experience in a customer interfacing role preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Long-term commitment to live and work in Melbourne
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Ability to work with customers and co-workers of different cultures
  • Basic math and technical aptitude
  • Analytical, detail-oriented
  • Service-minded, pro-active, and able to independently interface with customers
  • Logical, problem-solving mindset, curious, and a fast learner
